diversity period3

I've met a couple of black people. They are different from Latinos in some ways. I've had different experience with all of them.
One day my cousin took some of his friends to my house. One of them was black. That was Michael. The rest were Latinos like us. He didn't speak Spanish and my dad, my step mom and my uncles only spoke Spanish. My cousin and the rest of his friends would talk to him in English to translate what ever my uncles would tell them. Even though they spoke different languages they all got along really good. My uncles gave him chilis. They would tell him he had to eat one so he could become part of our family. We had a good experience with him. Now he goes to our house when ever we have parties or just when ever my cousin goes.
Another black person i know is my dean Mr. W. He's a really important person in my life. He has helped me out a lot to do good in school. Thanks to him i'm going to graduate on time. He helped me believe in my self, and he showed me that i still had a chance to change. Now i don't ditch anymore because i know that will disappoint him a lot.
People think black people have bad attitude or that all they do is cause problems, but everyone is the way they want to be. It doesn't matter what race we are in. It all depends on you. My friend Michael always made me laugh. When he would see me sad he would always cheer me up. My dean Mr. W helped me improve in school. My grades went up and now i'm going to graduate thanks to him. Those experiences i've had with them are really important to me.

Excellent essay with wonderful personal anecdotes to support your ideas.

Note, I changed your Dean's name to just his last initial as since this blog is public, we want to try to protect our identities as well as be respectful of those we write about, so don't use last names in future essays.
