How It Feels To Be Colored Me-Ronald Perez
I was born in Los Angeles at the LAC+USC Medical Center. I used to live in West Los Angeles where a lot of Salvadorean people live. Then i moved to East Los Angeles where the majority is either Mexican or Mexican-American. I on the other hand am Salvadorean-American and very proud of it. I love my culture and my color of skin. Because i am Salvadorean i felt uncomfortable telling people i was Salvadorean because the majority of people is Mexican. Then i figured out that were not that different. Now when i am confused for a Mexican I speak up and say that I am Salvadorean. Proud is how it feels to be colored me, Ronald Perez, Salvadorean-American, born and raised in Los Angeles.

Nice!
Im glad your proud of being salvadorean and its tru most salvadoreans do get called mexicans.I liked your introduction its good and solid.
its good that now you dont feel ashamed of saying that you are Salvadorean..& ur story also shows that not everyone in E.L.A. is Mexican.
Its good you are not ashame of saying your culture. People do talk but imagine if we cared when poeple talk we cant never talk because people always talk no matter what.
