HOW IT FEELS TO BE COLORED ME-Robert Cantero

I was born here in East LA. I grown up with nothing but my type, Mexican-American well most of it. I've notice that we are all proud of what we really are from and our cultures. Although we are from a Mexican culture we have different likes and dislike from food, to clothing. But one thing I notice that between each other we don't look at our skin color. Some darker than others and some lighter, but the Mexican runs inside of us. I am not a races person but i am glad that am a Mexican-American, i couldn't be happier with myself. Wouldn't like to be White, Asian, or Black. I believe that Hispanic have a way to make it trough life. We all know what our parents come from and have the some roots to look at. We do see if someone is white, black, or Asian, but i bet they see us as Mexican once they see our skin color and i think now in days is natural. So there for i don't care what people think about me or my culture, but I do know am proud of myself and where I come from.

Great sentiments, but you need to edit and proofread a bit more.
