Journey Story-Eliza- Freya

Poem of the Goddess Freya

A strawberry blonde with stunning blue eyes,

None could resist her,

Not even her own eyes.

She was the goddess of sensual love

That appeared in red, white, and black

The goddess of war and death,

That could kill those,

At first sight,

With her own eyes

Leader of the Valkyries,

With considerable power,

For she claim half the souls of those who died,

The other half of those who died belongs to Od.

Od was a strong courageous man,

Who would make her feel as if she’s caught

In some kind of hurricane,

For he made her feel like she was the only one,

In his eyes and in the sky

She gathered up the Valkyries and took them to Valhalla,

With her necklace of desire,

So bristling and bright,

She rode forth on her mission and caused the Northern Lights

Od disappeared and all feared that he was dead,

Distraught and cried tears of gold,

But refusing to accept that he was dead,

She rode on her golden chariot, all through the sky,

Pulled by two large blue cats as blue as the sky

Searching for Od who she could not find

Until she came upon a hideous creature,

The color of mucus, with one bulging eye,

That could see those that would come upon him,

In search of what they hope to find,

Gold and Silver was their mission,

In hope to become some other rich guy,

For she stayed by Od’s side,

To comfort and protect

Until one day,

A young man so full of adventure and pride,

Who was not afraid of what he may find,

He had the heart of a lion,

The courage as well,

But as he stumbled upon Od,

He stabbed him until he came upon his death

So enraged,

She threaten to take her revenge,

For she was the goddess of war and death,

But no sooner did she begin her search,

For the one who had caused Od’s death,

That she found, that Od had been sent to Valhalla,

Were both were never separated by his death

For she was named Freya,

Goddess of sensual love, as well as

War and death,

Were Friday is named after her

She is the Goddess who reminds us to explore,

To acknowledge all of our emotions,

Longings, and traits,

Even those we wish we did not possess.
