Journey Story - Ronald - Death, What a Bad Experience

*Death, What a Bad Experience*

It was a dark cloudy morning when Steven woke up. It was 8:30, already too late to go to school so he stretched and got up to drink some water and watch TV. When he got up he had a bad feeling in his stomach like something was wrong but he thought it was hunger. He didn’t think much of it so he went on with his day.He did his usual routine which was brushing his teeth and then getting some breakfast while watching his morning news.
Steven and his mom were the only people in the house that morning. Everyone else was either at school or working. It was about 9:00 a.m. and he was just cleaning up the mess left from the night before. His mother woke up tired and hungry so he made her something to eat. It was about 9:45 now and they both wondered why grandma had not woken up. So mom said, "Go check what grandma is doing." So Steven replied, "She is probably still sleeping mom .I don't want to bother her." Then his mom said, "Grandma should be drinking her coffee already, that's kind of weird." But they did not pay much attention to this because they figured she was tired.
Steven thought, "She did stay up late last night watching TV." So they both continued with their day, mom went to wash the dirty laundry and Steven was outside washing the car for his dad. Around 10:30 mom was already resting from doing the laundry and Steven was finishing up with the car drying the last window.
At this time mom was thinking to herself, " It’s really late now for mother to be sleeping. She should be showered and ready to go to church. This is really weird." So she decides to go check on her and when she check under her blanket she finds grandma cold and kind of bluish. Steven hears a very loud scream in the hose so he runs into the house screaming, "Mom what’s wrong! What’s wrong?" Then Steven hears, "She's dead, oh my god I can’t believe she's dead." Steven walks into the room slowly to seeing his mom kneeling next to grandma's bed crying her eyes out. Suddenly tears start to run down Steven's cheeks as he goes and hugs his mother.
This was Steven's first encounter with death and what a sad encounter it was. But as time went by and family, friends, and the ambulance came, Steven became less sad about this whole experience. Steven thought, "At least she is in a better place now." Steven's grandmother was not living much of a great life because she had diabetes, an amputated leg, and very bad eyes. So Steven found resolution in thinking about his grandmother being in a better place.

Journy Story - Carolina - Out of Nowhere

Carolina

Nancy graduated valedictorian of her class being an all around good student. For the first time her parents decided let her and a couple of friends go to Acapulco, as a graduation present. The girls kissed their parents goodbye and boarded the plane.

Nancy had never gone to a place like Acapulco. On the plane her and her friends make a pact to not hold back and just let loose when they get there. Nancy was going to party and drink as much as she could.

They got there safely, checked in a hotel and then called their parents to tell them they arrived safely. The girls then settled in and unpacked already thinking about what they were going to do the first night. After a lot of thinking and arguing the girls decide to head to a club. On the first night Nancy met a handsome man named James. Nancy liked James very much so as the night ended the girls decided to go back to their room but Nancy decided to stay behind with James.

Nancy and James go for a walk on the beach where they talked for almost the whole night. Their long walk ended up in James' hotel room. Where they really just talked and cuddled. They talked about being each others date for the rest of their stay at Acapulco and they both agreed and promised.

Nancy went back to her hotel room and told her friends everything that happened. When her friends heard this they laughed and made fun of her because they just talked all night. Nancy did not care though because she knows she had a good time just talking to James.

Lunch time came and James invited Nancy and her friends to eat. Manages friends were surprised because everything Nancy said about him was true. The girls thought everything Nancy said about James were complete lies.

Later that night they met up again for dinner and a walk around town. They finally decided to go back to his hotel room. There they began to mess around a little but that led to sex.

Nancy woke the next morning feeling very good. She did not see anything wrong with what she had done because he was a very respectable guy. But when she looked next to her James was gone. There was however a dozen roses and a card. The card said, "I hope you had a good time because I know I did. Just to let you know everything I have told this weekend was a lie. You have just been infected by AIDS. I have known about my AIDS for two years know and I only have six months to live. I hope you enjoyed your vacation because it just might be your last, love James."

Nancy felt her heart drop to the floor and was depressed all the way back to her hotel room. She showed the card to her friends and her friends were very upset. Nancy and her friends cried for the rest of the day. Nancy could not believe what had happened. She thought it was impossible, but it did happen.

When she went home the next day she decided to go to the doctor's office to get tested. Her test results came out positive and they could not believe it. Her parents could not believe something like this could happen to their smart and innocent daughter.

Later that year they found out where James was living. They also found out that he had already died of AIDS. Nancy felt bad but happy at the same time. During the time they found out he died she was already becoming very sick.

Nancy was in and out of the hospital for two years. Nancy could not be helped and eventually died. She died at the age 20, a very nice, smart, and beautiful girl. Nothing could have prevented this incident. If only she had protected herself she might be here.

Journey Story-Misty-Destiny

Destiny

Fifteen minutes till schools out,
it’s like an hour glass, falling grain by grain.
She talks about equations,
“2=5-3, now class how did I come up with that?”
And all I can think about is tonight.
“Right, it’s the same thing if it was switched around.”
I hear her voice once more,
I’m anxious and scared;
I finally got the courage and asked her out.

You can only imagine my shock when she said yes!
There had been joy in her answer and a smile on her face.
I felt like the sun after the rain.

I walked up to her,
I was extremely nervous;
I was sweaty and shaky,
and to top it off my hands felt clammy.
I could hear the people around me talking,
“So he just dumped you, just like that?” a girl said besides me.
I shoved her voice out of my head and focused at the task on hand.

Here I go; she’s looking at me,
she’s so beautiful,
with her brown soft eyes and her beautiful white smile.
I look her way but don't know what to say.
“Lana, I was wondering…” I say in a low nervous voice.
She’s staring and now I forgot what I was going to say,
“…if you’re not to busy Friday night, I was wondering if you would like to go out with me?”

I look at the clock,
Ten minutes to go.
Frustration over comes me,
I feel like a coke bottle that has just been shaken and is ready to explode.
Today was the day,
and it had seemed like it would never come around.
All of a sudden I feel my head and whole body turning hot,
my breathing slows down,
I’m thinking to myself,
“When will this day end?”
Then I start to get a huge headache out of nowhere,
like I just got hit in the head with a sledge hammer.
Then the unexpected happens,
the clock and windows shatter everywhere.

I think to myself,
“Did I do that?”
I laugh it off and leave the class as instructed.
I look at the faces around me,
Scared and confused,
Like little kids lost at the zoo
I can’t help but be amused.

Today was the day.
Excitement consumes me.
Three hours to go.

I get home; my mother greets me as usual,
with a cheerful voice and a smile on her face.
“How was school?” She says.
With confusion in my voice,
I tell her what happened.
When I'm done I look over to her,
her eyes are looking down,
and I know she has something to say.
With sadness and sympathy on her face and voice
she tells me like it was served on a tray.
What happens next still amazes me.

Apparently I’m not from this planet,
an alien if you will,
who came here many years ago,
who has “powers” from long ago.
I was shocked yet amused;
you know this only happens to a few.

I laugh it off,
Take it as a joke.
After all I got other thinks to do.
Two and a half hours to go.

The perfect night with the perfect girl,
there’s nothing that can ruin this for me.

It’s six o’ clock,
I pull up the driveway.
I’m anxious yet excited.
I’m hoping this night will be everything I hoped it would be.
She’s the girl of my dreams;
I’ll go to extremes
so she won’t leave me.

Where at the movies,
I’m nervous,
I’m sure she can feel it.
She places her hand upon mine,
I feel like were a shrine.
At the moment the room began to shack.

All around me there’s people running and screaming.
I look at the screen with tension,
and then the screen starts on fire,

Boy did that come to my attention.
She made me feel something;
I can’t explain it in words,
All I know is it’s a feeling I’ve never felt before.
And now I think that I started that fire,
Because of sexual desire.
I take her by the hand and lead her away,
Boy did she look mighty gray.

I look down to her;
I can see the fear on her face and in her eyes,

It looked like she wanted to cry.
“I know your scared let me take you home” I said to calm her down.

Where sitting outside her house,
there goes my date.
“How weird was that? When do you know of the screen burning like that?”
She says to me in a calming yet scared voice.
My reaction was to ignore the question and get out of the car.
I reach to open the door,
to my amazement it comes out of the hinges.
I choose to ignore it but,
now more than ever
I can see she wants to get away.
“Leave me alone” she screams as she’s running away from me.

Everything I had hoped for was ruined.
My anticipations and dreams of her were crushed in a second.
Not because of her or anyone else for that matter, But me.
I was a freak in her eyes and will always remain one.

I’m different yet unique,
I understand that now.
I know I can only get stronger,
my abilities can only grow.

I know I have a future,
a destiny to fulfill.
To help the people in need of me,
To be the man of steel.

Journey Story-Guillermo-Vampire Hunter Leito

As night falls, Memo, A vampire, arrives in his limousine-like wagon to Selena’s palace in Transylvania and takes her with him. Therefore, Selena’s dad, Skyler, sends his troops, but as a result, they were ambushed by the three demons of hell: Shadows, Wood-girl, and Werewolf. Skyler then decided to hire the Marquez brothers to bring back his daughter. Since Skyler still doubts, he told his men, “I want you to go find Leito, a half vampire and half human, as soon as you can because I’m not sure if the Marquez can accomplish this mission and I’m sure Leito can because he’s a vampire hunter.”

As I was entering the palace, I saw Skyler waiting for me and got straight to the point, “Leito, forgive me for bothering you, two days ago my daughter was kidnapped by a vampire and I request you to bring her back,” looking at him straight in the face I told him, “I’m afraid that’s going to cost you money.” Skyler desperately answered, “I don’t care, just bring her back dead or alive.” I hopped onto my horse and leaving the palace I said, “I’ll be back in two days.” I started my road to go find Memo, unaware I might have faced the three legendary demons of hell. I left a bloody path of rookie vampires, Memo’s descendants, along my way. As morning began to appear, I knew Memo had to stop and build a resting house so he won’t die in the sun, in the meantime, with my mystic sword I defeated Wood-girl, Shadows, and Werewolf who really gave me a challenge until night fell. There I was ready to face Memo who suddenly was leaving the resting house so I got in front of the limousine-like wagon and told him, “I have come for the girl,” as soon as said that, he disappeared and I knew where he was, in back of me. Suddenly he got his sword ready for battle, but I told him, “don’t be a fool Memo, just let girl and save your skin.” Taking the first swing, Memo said angrily, “I have come so far and I’m not going to allow any insect like you stop me from ruining my relationship.” Thinking that Selena was I already a vampire, I just replied, “it’s a pity that I have to annihilate both of you,” suddenly Selena managed to get out of the limousine-like wagon and yelled, “hey you jerk leave Memo alone, he’s the love of my dreams and I beg you to let us go peacefully.” Suddenly something got my attention and I noticed it was the Marquez brothers so Memo took advantage of my distraction and fled along with Selena to the Memo’s castle, a castle that is impossible for someone to enter or exit it.

I had to make a decision whether to go after them or not, but this strange feeling wouldn’t let me because when I hear Selena’s words coming out of her mouth, they made me feel how strong their love was so I decided not to chase them. Looking at the limousine-like wagon entering the castle, a member of the Marquez brothers, Layla, came up to me and said, “are you insane?, why did you let him go just like that?” so I turned and began to ask myself, “what’s this strange feeling, like butterflies in my stomach,” I realized I had fallen in love with Layla and so did she because she would only stare at me. I decided to go back to the palace, but as I hopped onto my horse, she said, “I would like to go with you because something is telling me that you are the guy of my dreams.” Confused I answered, “I see no problem with it.” Once I entered the castle, Skyler was desperate waiting for me and said, “She left with him didn’t she? But don’t worry I have realized that she’s old enough to make her own choices.” Then I said, “Well I think it’s time for me to get back on my journey so long, old pale.” Then I hopped onto my horse along with Layla as we left the palace and started our road to nowhere.
