Analytical Essay - Jesus - Love at first sight -

Love at first sight

Love at first sight doesn’t really happen that often. In fact it really isn’t what it sounds like. You don’t feel love, but you might feel something that you never felt before. I don’t think that you can love a person just by looking at them. People might say that they experienced love at for sight, but the truth if they think about it, it’s not love.

I once had that experience, and I thought it was love but it wasn’t. I saw this girl and she saw me, I thought that I felt love. I was very wrong; I got with that girl with out even trying to get to know her. It didn’t last for long; I realized that I didn’t love her. I liked her, a lot but not enough to say that I loved her. I got to know her and we became friends. I then started to feel love for her so I asked her out.

Love at first sight isn’t really true but it does happed. You do feel something for that person the moment you see them. It might not be love but it is a special feeling you get. I guess it’s just up to that person. If they believe its love then it’s on them, but me personally, I don’t think its love. You need to experience it, in order to know.

Analytical Essay - Yalitza - Love at First Sight

Love at First Sight?

We've all heard the saying "It was love at first sight" but now I tend to be hearing the saying "Lust at first sight" more often. Honestly, I think that you can have a connection with someone on an emotional level when you just meet them.Yes and no how can it be possible to feel so much for a stranger, a passerby when you get this feeling when that certain person walks by.

In this case I do believe I have, a love that I still share great love with from the day we laid eyes on each other in an unexpected place. But is there such a thing as love at first sight? That's the question I used to ask myself until I laid eyes on Jesus. Every single important moment with him, from first kiss, first voicing of the tremendous feeling inside, break up, was completely perfect, and for there is much unfinished business and untapped emotions between us I hope. And I think that he would tell you the same. There is so much I have to thank him for, and I cannot, so I merely show him in my actions how much he means to me, as a human being.

Love has no limits, no color, and no time. It does not have to be passionate. It does not have to be wild; it does not have to be romantic. True love is ALL of those things, at one time or another, but it endures through all the ups and downs, adapts to all situations, and never gives up. As my point of view I believe that love is a great different feeling. It's just something you feel and know in your heart and you have all the faith in the world that something will happen between you two.

Book Review

The book First Confession by Montserrat Fontes is a novel about two nine-year-old cousins named Andrea and Victor who grow up near the Mexican border during the 1940's. They both lack study skills and dedicate their entire summer vacation going to catechism and causing
mischief instead of trying to get better at school. They both agree to do 50 bad things before lunch everyday due to the fact that they will be forgiven by God for every one of their sins when they go through their first communion ceremony. What they didn’t know was that doing those bad things like spying on the town’s prostitute and stealing her money, visiting scruffy urchins living in the river, and bribing a waiter at a local restaurant, were going to lead them to serious trouble. Fontes knows how to write and tell the story the way a child and her style of writing kept me reading more and more. She has a way of making the reader understand what the main characters are going through and also makes the reader feel a sense of anticipation. Reading this book has lured me into reading more books.

In the book, the main character(Andrea) pushes around her cousin Victor and tells him what to do. Fontes makes Andrea’s character a rough tomboy who is into her dad’s car and watching matadors risk their lives trying to dodge charging bulls. Andrea is an interesting character because of the way she likes to push everyone down. She doesn’t care that she is disrespectful and she thinks everything she does is right. Of course she has reason to feel that way after the way her father treats her. She is really spoiled and is given everything to her by her father. The main reason for why she lacks study skills is because her father doesn’t think it is important and lets her get away with anything she does.

Andrea goes through some really tough times and runs into some serious obstacles as she grows up. One of te main conflicts she faces is when she reveals one of the towns most kept secrets about a store clerk named Armida. She reveals to Armida’s husband, Don Pancho, that Armida’s second job is to charge teenage boys in exchange for pleasure. Andrea feels guilty and ashamed for the consequences that this sudden revelation brings and thinks to herself that she will never forgive herself for what she caused. All her life was faced with difficulties and she has overcome all of them except for the tragic ending of the book, which deals with suicide.

First Confession is an absolute brilliant novel filled with excitement, mystery, and most important of all, awkwardness. If you don’t enjoy the thought of reading, you will after you read the first chapter of this book. I strongly recommend this book to anyone, especially those who don’t enjoy reading. Some people might relate to some of the situations that these characters go through all of their life. Being able to compare your own life to the life of the characters in the book is what makes Montserrat Fontes a good writer. You’ll never want to stop reading after you start.

In class essay-Guillermo-The love song of J. A. Prufrock

In “The love song of J. Alfred Prufrock,” Eliot invites the reader to go along with Prufrock in his journey in the streets. In this poem, Prufrock faces the stages of initiation and chaos at the same time. Eliot focuses more on Prufrock’s feelings to guide the reader into his personality.

The writer creates conflict between Prufrock and his inner guide to introduce the stages of initiation and chaos as shown in lines 73 and 74, where he says “I should have been a pair of rugged claws. Scuttling across the floors of silent seas.” He is basically saying that he doesn’t know what to say to the woman. Then he kind of stays in the stage of chaos at the end of the poem because he wants to propose her, but he is afraid that she might give him a “maybe” answer. This shows that Prufrock is full of love, but eventually he finds hard to apply it in his life.

I would suggest for my conclusion that if he shows his feelings to the woman he wants to propose, he would have to go up to that woman and let her know how he feels towards her. Otherwise she will never find out and might get proposed by some other man. Overall Prufrock must not be a shy person because of his phobia of rejection, which, which it will help him realize the importance for somebody to show feelings.

Journey Story-Guillermo-Vampire Hunter Leito

As night falls, Memo, A vampire, arrives in his limousine-like wagon to Selena’s palace in Transylvania and takes her with him. Therefore, Selena’s dad, Skyler, sends his troops, but as a result, they were ambushed by the three demons of hell: Shadows, Wood-girl, and Werewolf. Skyler then decided to hire the Marquez brothers to bring back his daughter. Since Skyler still doubts, he told his men, “I want you to go find Leito, a half vampire and half human, as soon as you can because I’m not sure if the Marquez can accomplish this mission and I’m sure Leito can because he’s a vampire hunter.”

As I was entering the palace, I saw Skyler waiting for me and got straight to the point, “Leito, forgive me for bothering you, two days ago my daughter was kidnapped by a vampire and I request you to bring her back,” looking at him straight in the face I told him, “I’m afraid that’s going to cost you money.” Skyler desperately answered, “I don’t care, just bring her back dead or alive.” I hopped onto my horse and leaving the palace I said, “I’ll be back in two days.” I started my road to go find Memo, unaware I might have faced the three legendary demons of hell. I left a bloody path of rookie vampires, Memo’s descendants, along my way. As morning began to appear, I knew Memo had to stop and build a resting house so he won’t die in the sun, in the meantime, with my mystic sword I defeated Wood-girl, Shadows, and Werewolf who really gave me a challenge until night fell. There I was ready to face Memo who suddenly was leaving the resting house so I got in front of the limousine-like wagon and told him, “I have come for the girl,” as soon as said that, he disappeared and I knew where he was, in back of me. Suddenly he got his sword ready for battle, but I told him, “don’t be a fool Memo, just let girl and save your skin.” Taking the first swing, Memo said angrily, “I have come so far and I’m not going to allow any insect like you stop me from ruining my relationship.” Thinking that Selena was I already a vampire, I just replied, “it’s a pity that I have to annihilate both of you,” suddenly Selena managed to get out of the limousine-like wagon and yelled, “hey you jerk leave Memo alone, he’s the love of my dreams and I beg you to let us go peacefully.” Suddenly something got my attention and I noticed it was the Marquez brothers so Memo took advantage of my distraction and fled along with Selena to the Memo’s castle, a castle that is impossible for someone to enter or exit it.

I had to make a decision whether to go after them or not, but this strange feeling wouldn’t let me because when I hear Selena’s words coming out of her mouth, they made me feel how strong their love was so I decided not to chase them. Looking at the limousine-like wagon entering the castle, a member of the Marquez brothers, Layla, came up to me and said, “are you insane?, why did you let him go just like that?” so I turned and began to ask myself, “what’s this strange feeling, like butterflies in my stomach,” I realized I had fallen in love with Layla and so did she because she would only stare at me. I decided to go back to the palace, but as I hopped onto my horse, she said, “I would like to go with you because something is telling me that you are the guy of my dreams.” Confused I answered, “I see no problem with it.” Once I entered the castle, Skyler was desperate waiting for me and said, “She left with him didn’t she? But don’t worry I have realized that she’s old enough to make her own choices.” Then I said, “Well I think it’s time for me to get back on my journey so long, old pale.” Then I hopped onto my horse along with Layla as we left the palace and started our road to nowhere.

Analytical Essay - Carolina - Love Song

Love Song

In The Love Song by T.S Eliot it seems that the character in the poem goes through innocence, chaos, resolution, and chaos again.

At first he’s in innocence. He says, “In the room the women came and go talking of Michel Angelo.” He says it as if there’s nothing more to it but the coming and going of the women. He see’s nothing wrong with it.

Then he goes into chaos. He talks some more about women coming and going, but he doubts him self and puts him self down by saying “Do I dare? And Do I dare? Time to turn back and descend the stair with a bald spot in the middle of my head” He scares him self so he’ll have an excuse not to talk to the women coming in and out of the room.

Towards the end of the poem he figures that he has to accept him self as who he is. He says “No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be;” So he realizes that he is only a man like every other man with flays.

But at the very end of the poem he doubts him self again by saying that “I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each, I do not think that they will sing to me.” At the very last moment when you thought that he had accepted him self, he turns around and doubts himself all over again. By thinking that way he wont get a girl because he’s to hard on him self

In this poem this man is going through life with no worries ‘till he goes to a party/places where women come and go. Then he thinks about his life and how he needs it or some thing. Then he starts doubting and that’s when the cycle of his life starts from innocence to chaos to resolution to chaos to resolution to chaos and on and on. Luckily for him that just part of life and that’s how we live day to day. If you didn’t then you would have problems.

Journey Story-Edgar-Janet

Journey Story

The sky was clear and the weather was perfect. Everyone was excited, except for Janet. Janet was one of those people that worried about little things and never enjoyed her self wherever she went. She would say, “There is too much trouble and danger in the world today and each day that trouble and danger gets worse.” Her friends didn’t like her attitude towards things and sometimes didn’t invite her to places. Janet knew how her friends felt about her and she didn’t like it. She would cry in her room until she ran out of tears, which was almost never. Her biggest goal in life was to go out one day with her friends and enjoy herself without having to worry about anything. She felt nervous and anxiety as she headed to an amusement park with her friends.

When they arrived at the theme park, Janet’s fiends took one look at the roller coasters and saw fun and adventure, but Janet saw a place full of danger and germs. “I don’t think I can go through this you guys, I think I’ll just take a bus home, just go on without me.” Her friends knew that they couldn’t let her take a bus all the way home. As she walked towards the parking lot exit, Tom ran after her, picked her up and ran with her to the amusement park entrance. “Stop! Put me down!” exclaimed Janet. Before she knew it, she was already inside. She decided not to leave the amusement park because she didn’t want her admission ticket to go to waste. “Which ride should we get on first?” asked Tony. Everyone was full of excitement and couldn’t decide which ride to get on first. “I’ll stay here at the arcade, you guys go on and have fun.” said Janet. Without any thought, her friends left her by herself at the arcade. “We’ll meet back here when it’s time to leave Janet!” one of her friends yelled as he ran towards fun and adventure.

Janet had a lot of time to think about her life. As she was sitting in a bench, a woman and her daughter sat next to her and she heard the woman tell her daughter, “You better get your fears out of the way or you’ll never amount to anything. The whole world is full of obstacles and difficulties. You’re job as a human being is to work thorough those things and live a good life. If you don’t, those problems will always come back to haunt you. Imagine a world without worries, it would be plain and boring.” All of a sudden, Janet had an epiphany. The woman’s words made an impact on her way of thinking. She got up and headed to The Abolisher, The tallest ride in the park.

Journey Story-Eliza- Freya

Poem of the Goddess Freya

A strawberry blonde with stunning blue eyes,

None could resist her,

Not even her own eyes.

She was the goddess of sensual love

That appeared in red, white, and black

The goddess of war and death,

That could kill those,

At first sight,

With her own eyes

Leader of the Valkyries,

With considerable power,

For she claim half the souls of those who died,

The other half of those who died belongs to Od.

Od was a strong courageous man,

Who would make her feel as if she’s caught

In some kind of hurricane,

For he made her feel like she was the only one,

In his eyes and in the sky

She gathered up the Valkyries and took them to Valhalla,

With her necklace of desire,

So bristling and bright,

She rode forth on her mission and caused the Northern Lights

Od disappeared and all feared that he was dead,

Distraught and cried tears of gold,

But refusing to accept that he was dead,

She rode on her golden chariot, all through the sky,

Pulled by two large blue cats as blue as the sky

Searching for Od who she could not find

Until she came upon a hideous creature,

The color of mucus, with one bulging eye,

That could see those that would come upon him,

In search of what they hope to find,

Gold and Silver was their mission,

In hope to become some other rich guy,

For she stayed by Od’s side,

To comfort and protect

Until one day,

A young man so full of adventure and pride,

Who was not afraid of what he may find,

He had the heart of a lion,

The courage as well,

But as he stumbled upon Od,

He stabbed him until he came upon his death

So enraged,

She threaten to take her revenge,

For she was the goddess of war and death,

But no sooner did she begin her search,

For the one who had caused Od’s death,

That she found, that Od had been sent to Valhalla,

Were both were never separated by his death

For she was named Freya,

Goddess of sensual love, as well as

War and death,

Were Friday is named after her

She is the Goddess who reminds us to explore,

To acknowledge all of our emotions,

Longings, and traits,

Even those we wish we did not possess.

Journey Story - Jesus - When you're young

When you’re young

One more week and I’m off to middle school. I hope I see all my friends from elementary, when I go into the 6th grade. Some of my friends told me that the kids in middle school are mean.

I told them “I’m a nice guy, so I don’t think that they will bother me,”

“Yeah, your right!” I was thinking of what my friends had told me and I was sort of scared. It kept bugging me through out the whole day, so finally I went to ask my mother.

“Mom, my friends Sal, Freddy, and Tony, said that the kids in middle school are mean.”

“What do you mean?”

“Yeah, that they don’t care if you are smaller then them or anything like that, that they will fight with you.”

“I don’t think that is true. Yes, there are bullies in school, but if you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you. Plus you know that I won’t let anyone harm you.”

“Yeah I know, Thanks mom.”

My mother was always there for me, ever since my father had left us. We hardly talk about him and the truth we really don’t need him. He never comes around nor calls. It’s been four years that I haven seen him. It doesn’t make a difference if he was here or not, as long as I have my mother.

Well the day has come, it’s Monday and I have to get up for school. I’m a little excited and nervous at the same time. My mother can’t drop me off at school, so Freddy, Sal, Tony and I are going to walk together. I herd a knock on my door and it was my friends.

“Are you ready?” Sal asked me,

“Yeah, just let me get my backpack.”
We walked to school no one said a word; I think there were all nervous. We were about a block away when I broke the silence.

“So what are you guys going to do after school?”

“I’m not sure,” said Sal,

Tony then said, “I’m not doing anything, Freddy and I are going to going to play video games if you want to come over?”

“Yeah, I’ll ask my mom for permission.”

We got to school and we all looked at each other, then we went in. We walked around the school and the school was full. We were looking for our class, but didn’t know where to look. There was a small map, and that’s how we found our classes. The bell rang so we were on our way to class.

“We should meet by the tree during nutrition and lunch”, I told them.

Tony, Sal, and Freddy said, “Okay.”

I went to class and everything was going good. My first and second period teachers were both cool. The bell rang to go to nutrition, so I got my stuff and ran to the spot where we said that we were going to meet. I was running down the stairs when I bumped into some kid.

He yields at me, “Yeah watch it, you dumb little kid!”

“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to.”

I kept walking towards my friends. When I got there, they were not there. I waited for them and then I saw them coming out of the cafeteria. They were talking about there classes and how much fun they are having here at school.

I interrupted and said, “Your guys aren’t going to believe had happened to me on the way over here!”

“What happened?” Sal said,

“I bumped into some kid coming down the stairs and he was very mad.”

Tony them mumbled, “Dam!”

“Don’t worry about it, I’m pretty sure that you aren’t going to see him anytime soon and if you do, he might have forgotten by then.” said Freddy.

I was really nervous and scared. I was thinking if I would ever see him or not, and if I would see him, what would he do. I tried not to think of him, but it was too hard. The bell rang to go to class and I just started to walk towards my class. I didn’t tell my friends goodbye or see you later. During third and fourth period I tried to get my mind off of him but I was very nervous. The bell rang to go to lunch; I walked slowly out of class and was very careful on the way to my friends.

“So are you still thinking of that kid?” Sal said.

“Well….. Kind of, but the day is almost over so I think that I’m just going to cool off.”

“You should cool off, and don’t worry about it.” Tony told me.

“I need to go to the restroom.” Said Freddy.

“Well lets all go,” I told them.

We walked to the rest room and there he was. I tried to hide he hind my friends but couldn’t. They were looking at me like if I was wearied.

“What’s wrong, Henry?” said Sal.

“That is the guy that I bumped into!”

“Wow, he’s big.” Tony mumbled.

All of a sudden he turned around, and I didn’t think that he had seen me. I started to walk fast but I felt his eyes staring at me. I turned around and he wasn’t there any more, I felt better. I went into the rest room and then came out.

“You didn’t think that I would find you again? Well here I am and you are going to see if you like
to be pushed around.” A voice said augury.

My heard stared to pump really fast. I close my eyes and then turned around. Yes, it was him; I was so scared that I couldn’t talk.

“I tolled you that I was sorry.” I mumbled to him.

“Well I don’t except sorrys!”

The bell rang and he just walked away. I was so scared that I didn’t talk to no one the rest of the day. When I got home I went straight to my room. I didn’t want to go back to school. When my mom got home she went into my room.

“So how was your first day at school?”

“It was okay.”

“Is there something you want to tell me?”

“I bumped into some kid and now he wants to beat me up.

“You know that I won’t let any one hurt you, I have already told you that before. Tomorrow I
will go to school with you and we will have a talk with the principle. You just forget about it and let me worry about it.”

Analytical Essay- Eliza - Diving into the Wreck

Adrienne Rich: Diving Into the Wreck

Diving into the Wreck written by Adrienne Rich is a poem that symbolizes the meaning of what words really mean. Throughout the poem, Rich tries to show us that we can never know for sure if the words that are spoken are true. Rich uses all stages of the journey to symbolize the importance of words. She uses innocence, initiation, chaos and resolution.

Innocence is shown at the beginning of the poem for Rich, shows that the character is in innocence because “having read the book of myths, and loaded the camera,” shows that the character had enough curiosity to want to go to explore to see if it was true, what he had read. Rich also uses the “book of myths” as a symbol, of what the words written are true. Meaning that he wanted to see if what he had read was true. She states that “I am having to do this not like Cousteau with his assiduous team aboard the sun-flooded schooner but her alone.”… “There is a ladder. The ladder is always there hanging innocently.” These two quotes show the innocence of the character for it shows that the character is not aware of the danger there might be, because the ladder is hanging freely, so innocently.

The poem begins to show initiation when the character says that “First the air is blue and then it is bluer and then green and then black, I am blackening out,” it shows that the character is now aware of the dangers around her.

The character enters chaos when she begins to feel that “now it is easy to forget what I came for among so many who have always lived here,” meaning that she is confused of what the words of people really mean. After finding nothing, she began to be aware of the truth in the words of the people and what they say.

Last but not least the character reaches resolution and is the time you are able to see the symbol of the truth of words. “The words are purposes. The words are maps,” meaning that words do not mean only one thing, there are words beyond those, just like the sentences where you must read and understand beyond what you see and read. You must read between the lines.

In conclusion Rich uses all four stages of the journey, innocence, initiation, chaos, and resolution. The poems purpose is to be able to symbolize the meaning of words just like “We are; I am, you are by cowardice or courage the one who find our way back,” meaning that words prevail, it is for us to find out the truth of words, and of what we must believe and what we mustn’t.

Journey Story - Yalitza - What a Christmas

What a Christmas

Christmas was only three weeks away, and Juan Carlos and Juan Cristobal were busy. One warm day, Juan Cristobal went out to gather firewood, and while he was at it, he was at it; he cut down a small Christmas tree for the living room. Juan Carlos swept off the porch, and then he wrapped red ribbons around the porch posts. Juan Cristobal cleaned out the gutters, and while he was at it, he hung up some Christmas lights. But when he stepped back to admire the result, he shook his head.

“That fence really needs painting,” he thought. He went to the shed for some paint.

“This should do the trick,” he said, pulling a bucket of white paint off a shelf. “White is the only color for a picket fence.”

Juan Carlos, busy putting candles in the windows, looked out and saw Juan Cristobal painting the fence.

“Do you need some help?” he called.

“Sure,” said Juan Cristobal.

“There’s more paint in the shed.” Juan Carlos went out to the shed and found a bucket of red paint. “This must be it,” he said. Prying off the lid, he stirred the thick paint. “This red is the perfect thing to brighten up that old fence.” He carried it around to the front of the house and began painting the inside of the fence bright red.

Meanwhile, Juan Cristobal painted the outside white. They worked along together, neither one noticing that they were using different colors. “This fence is going to look so much better,” said Juan Cristobal, picturing the fence all clean and white.

“No doubt about it” said Juan Carlos, imagining the whole fence bright red and beautiful. So they worked all morning, and it was not until they finished the whole fence that they noticed the mistake.

“You painted your side white,” said Juan Carlos.

They look at each other Juan Cristobal signed.

“Well, I guess we’ll have to repaint your side white,” he said.

“Or maybe we could paint your side red,” said Juan Carlos.”

No, I think it should be white,” said Juan Cristobal.

“I think it should be red,” Juan Carlos said firmly.

“But white is the proper color for a picket fence,” said Juan Cristobal.

“Well, I like red!” shouted Juan Carlos.

“It has to be white!”

“Red!”

“White!”

“Red!”

The two glared at each other over the fence. Neither one spoke to the other all afternoon. Just before dinnertime, Juan Carlos had and idea. He took the bucket of white paint and began painting the red side of the fence. Juan Cristobal watched him for a moment, then took the bucket of red paint and worked on the white side of the fence. When they were done, the entire fence was covered with red and white vertical stripes.

“Like peppermint sticks!” said Juan Cristobal, and stepping back to look at the fence.

“Do you like it?” asked Juan Carlos.

“It’s perfect!” said Gordon.

“Just right for Christmas! Red and white are the only colors for a picket fence!”

Analytical Essay-Misty-The Love Song

Misty

The Love Song

“The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock,” by T.S. Eliot is a story about a man, whose life is in chaos and he just can’t seem to get out of it and hit resolution. The man in this poem is afraid to take a risk. He let’s fear take over him, for example he wonders “Do I dare? And do I dare? Time to turn back and descend the stair…” (Line 38). This man wants to fall in love, he wants to love and be loved, but since he let’s fear take over, his life remains in chaos and he remains alone.

This man seems distant from the world. He belongs to a high society of people, for example, “For I have known them all already, known them all- Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons” (Line 49 & 50), but since he tires of it all, and he feels left out, like he’s out of place, as though they are judging him, examing him, for example “Arms that lie along a table or wrap about a shawl.” (Line 67). That creates chaos in his life because he doesn’t want to be alone, he wants to be wanted but then the doubt comes back into his head and fear takes over “And should I then presume?, and how should I begin?”(Line 68 & 69). If he decided to go and talk to people around him, he’s afraid that he won’t have nothing to talk to them about or how to approach them.

This man is afraid to say what he thinks. He again let’s the fear take over, he won’t talk to a person or have a conversation with anyone, because he’s afraid they won’t like what he has to say, or just won’t think he’s interesting. So he just stands alone in the back, watching everyone. So he remains quiet and let’s his fear and chaos into his life once more, for example “To say: I am Lazarus, come from the dead, come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all-…” (Line 94-95) and “And this, and so much more? - it is impossible to say just what I mean!!” (Line 103-104). He’s afraid of what others will say, if he only said what was on his mind, if he introduced himself, but he is very much afraid of society and what they might say, to take the risk, afraid of wasting time. So he keeps to himself, and chaos is still in his world. So in the end, this man will never hit resolution. His life will be stuck in chaos, unless he is willing to come out of his shell, stop thinking before he acts and just live life, unless he ever wants to fall in love so badly he just goes for it.

But at the end of the poem, he realizes this all, but still does not do it, so in the end, he still remains in chaos, for example “I grow old…I grow old… I shall wear the bottom of my trousers rolled” (Line 120-121) and “I shall wear white flannel trousers and walk upon the beach, I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each…-I do not think they will sing to me.” (Line123-125). He realizes that he has made many wrong discussions in his life, which he was too afraid to do anything, but he thinks it’s too late for him and he winds up alone. He ends up on the beach thinking of his life, how he remains alone, away from the world, his life remains in chaos because of his fear to take any risks, so he remain alone and unloved.
